Marshall Lee's Crush pg. 6

       "Are you positive you can keep a secret Gumball? I really, really wouldn't this secret spreading around," Marshall Lee said, looking a bit uncomfortable. I wouldn't blame him. If I had a secret, I knew that only the people closest to me would find out. But me and Marshall Lee hardly talk, and if he had a secret that Fionna already knew, I wanted to know to. Especially if Fionna knew already, because I'm much more trustworthy than her. Yet, in the back of my mind, what Fionna had said still hung there. Marshall Lee liking me would be the greatest thing ever, but I still had doubts, since Fionna was known for her gossiping and such.
       "Yes, I'm positive I can keep a secret Marshall. I'm your best friend," I smiled in hopes of encouraging him to tell me. I felt like I was sort of forcing it out of him. But still, if someone else knew, I wanted to know. (At this, I felt rather nosey and gossipy myself. Oh well…)
       "W-Well, there's this person I like," he blushed slightly, adding to the cuteness he already had. "A-And I'm trying to find out if they like me back." I couldn't help but smile, he seemed so innocent, like a little kid who had a crush on someone older than them. He wasn't looking up at me, he was looking down at the floor, which made my smile turn into a grin. He really was as shy as he seemed.
       "Well, who's this person that you like?" I pushed the thought of it being me out of my head. It couldn't be me, perhaps Fionna. I mean, they were always rather close to each other. He looked up at me, he was blushing brighter, I tried very hard not to just give him a hug for being so adorable.
        "U-Uh. . . Well, lets just say you know this certain person, and uh. . ."
